Jesus Loves the Little Children
In a recorded rehearsal, the 2018 PreTeens Sabbath School Class of Miracle City SDA Church, Baltimore, MD is learning the basics of puppeteering—discovering how small details bring big life to the puppet show. They practice keeping the puppets held at waist height in the booth, with eyes focused forward toward the audience rather than drifting upward. The class works on realistic movement as the puppets speak, using natural hand and body motions instead of stiff or minimal gestures. They learn to have the puppets look at one another during dialogue, avoid blocking each other in the booth, and moving the mouths in rhythm with the spoken words—learning that clarity, connection, and intentional movement help the story come alive.
